Windancer Kennels is a show and hobby breeding kennel; we do not breed for profit. We strive to have some of the top IGs, Greyhounds, and Whippets in the country; It takes a very healthy, robust, beautiful dog with an outstanding personality to achieve such honors and this is our main goal. Not every puppy will be a top show dog but can make a wonderful pet. We strive to place these puppies in only the best of pet homes. Windancer Kennels focuses on homes where one human is home with the puppy during the day, or homes where there is already an sighthound living successfully. Our dogs live in our home and are NOT kenneled. It is extremely important to us that each dog and puppy receive as much one on one human time as possible. Our puppies are very well trained and are socialized to a family environment.

About Us
We run a small kennel located in the Pacific Northwest, just outside of Seattle, Washington. It is located in a part of the country that is flush with parks, trails, national forests, and large open ares where all of our dogs have plenty of room to run, jump, play, and enjoy the fresh air. We strive to maintain a professional, RESPONSIBLE kennel of quality Italian Greyhounds (IG's), Greyhounds, and Whippets. Here at Windancer Kennels, the goal is to be known for happy, healthy, well socialized hounds. We continually strive for excellence in their temperament, confirmation, and breed standard conformity.
We feel that it is our duty to continually learn more about breeding practices, health issues, or anything else that may be useful in helping become better at what we do and improve the lives and health of our dogs and puppies. We take advantage of every opportunity available to obtain new information related to breeding, and general dog health. We frequently confer with a veterinarian and other breeders in the area about all issues, and any problems that may arise, so that we can provide the absolute best care for our dogs.
